Senior GenAI Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹End-to-end development of AI solutions: from rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept to scalable, highly available production environments
• ▹Develop robust Python backend services that integrate state-of-the-art LLMs and stay stable under load
• ▹Build autonomous agent systems that automate real workflows via tool calling and memory management within defined guardrails
• ▹Integrate AI agents into the development process: AI-assisted coding and code reviews, automated tests, intelligent documentation
• ▹Ensure code quality through clean architecture, automated tests and efficient CI/CD processes
• ▹Implement frameworks to measure the performance of GenAI solutions (accuracy, latency, cost)
• ▹Work directly with clients in workshops and in sparring with business units and management, translating complex AI concepts into business impact
• ▹Assess technical feasibility and advise stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹Excellent production-ready Python: API development (e.g. FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), unit/integration testing, Git and CI/CD
• ▹Solid architecture understanding: SOLID principles, clean architecture, dependency injection, async/concurrency, ORM (e.g. SQLAlchemy)
• ▹Hands-on experience with multimodal LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and cloud platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
• ▹Advanced GenAI engineering: prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON), tool/function calling
• ▹End-to-end RAG expertise: from embeddings and vector DBs (e.g. pgvector) to complex retrieval, re-ranking and evaluation
• ▹Experience planning and orchestrating autonomous systems (e.g. with Pydantic AI), including memory management and guardrails
• ▹Direct client experience: moderating workshops, presenting results and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes
• ▹German fluent (C1), English at negotiation level
• ▹Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, data science, business informatics or comparable (B.Sc. or higher)
• ▹Willingness to regularly work on site at the client
