DATAGROUP's infrastructure team is looking for a (Senior) IT Consultant to build and run OpenShift platforms on customer sites in Mainz. Permanent contract, with a company car and flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

▹Design modern OpenShift platforms in customer projects
▹Advise and support customers in their IT environments using Linux and Red Hat OpenShift administration expertise
▹Take responsibility for the concept, build-up and long-term operation of an OpenShift environment
▹Plan and install OpenShift clusters on an on-premise platform
▹Test and commission the OpenShift environment
▹Ensure smooth operation and further develop container-based systems

Requirements

▹Good experience in consulting on and operating Red Hat OpenShift environments
▹Technical knowledge in the following areas: Red Hat Core OS as operating system, GitHub and container registry, permission and user management, automatic image updates, monitoring and logging
▹Confident and professional handling of operational processes in larger IT environments
▹Completed technical degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
▹Pronounced analytical thinking and a structured, independent way of working
▹Willingness to undergo a security clearance (SÜ 2)
▹Professional and confident manner, strong service and results orientation
▹Solid German (B2-C1), written and spoken

Nice to have

▹Knowledge of other container environments
▹Operational practice according to ITIL
