Synera is building an internal AI superagent powered by all of the company's business data and tools, and is hiring a Data Engineer to own the data warehouse and ETL pipelines behind it. The role covers integrating GTM, product, engineering and finance data, and building the data layer for LLM-based applications.

Responsibilities

▹Design and develop the data warehouse (Timescale)
▹Extract data from GTM and business systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
▹Build ETL pipelines and data models (Airflow/Timescale)
▹Build the reporting and forecasting layer (Power BI, Salesforce)
▹Make data accessible to AI agents (APIs, MCP connectors)

Requirements

▹SQL is second nature
▹Experience building ETL/data pipelines (e.g. Airflow)
▹Experience integrating multiple systems (APIs, webhooks, auth)
▹Experience building the data layer behind LLM applications (retrieval, embeddings, vector search)
▹Confident working English

Nice to have

▹German language skills
▹Experience building reporting and forecasting tools that people actually use
