Responsibilities

• ▹Own and scale the cloud infrastructure: compute, networking, data layer
• ▹Lead BYOC deployments: provisioning, upgrades, observability
• ▹Operationalize and productize IaC and GitOps foundations
• ▹Make reliability a product feature: SLOs and a trusted incident process
• ▹Lead the data layer: Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse
• ▹Own the infrastructure side of security and compliance: SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA
• ▹Help shape the roadmap and company strategy

Requirements

• ▹10+ years staff-level experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE
• ▹Deep production Kubernetes experience
• ▹Experience operating in environments you don't control (BYOC, single-tenant, on-prem, air-gapped)
• ▹Deep AWS fluency
• ▹Terraform as your native mode of working
• ▹Strong database skills, especially Postgres
• ▹Real compliance exposure: SOC 2 or ISO audits, pen tests
• ▹Product mindset and developer empathy
• ▹Based in North America, LATAM or Europe

Nice to have

• ▹Exposure to GCP and Azure
• ▹Familiarity with the TypeScript/Node stack
