Senior Data Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop enterprise-grade solutions in Python using Pandas and NumPy
• ▹Handle data ingestion, preprocessing, cleansing, transformation, validation and enrichment
• ▹Design and implement scalable, maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines
• ▹Develop reusable frameworks and components for large-scale data processing
• ▹Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability
• ▹Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment
• ▹Create and manage Python deployment artifacts, packages and libraries
• ▹Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability for production services
• ▹Support and troubleshoot applications in production environments

Requirements

• ▹Extensive hands-on Python experience, advanced Pandas and NumPy skills
• ▹Strong data engineering background
• ▹Software engineering best practices: clean code, modular design, testing, code review
• ▹Experience with large, complex datasets in production environments
• ▹Understanding of DevOps principles and the software delivery lifecycle
• ▹Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or others)
• ▹Very high level of English for daily meetings
• ▹Agile methodology
