Responsibilities

• ▹Design and maintain monitoring solutions
• ▹Configure Checkmk rules, alerting logic, service discovery, dashboards
• ▹Manage distributed hybrid-cloud and on-prem monitoring setups
• ▹Integrate Checkmk with external systems (ticketing, messaging)
• ▹Troubleshoot complex systems
• ▹Document monitoring strategies

Requirements

• ▹Solid Checkmk experience (Enterprise Edition preferred) in production
• ▹Linux system administration
• ▹Python and Bash/Shell scripting
• ▹Deep IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, databases)
• ▹Familiarity with SNMP and agent-based monitoring

Nice to have

• ▹Checkmk integration with MS Teams, Jira, ServiceNow
• ▹Familiarity with other monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
• ▹Knowledge of ITIL processes
• ▹Checkmk plugin/extension development
• ▹Relevant certifications
