Proton seeks an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and secure its core internal identity infrastructure. Built on self-hosted, open-source technologies like Keycloak and midPoint alongside enterprise solutions like Duo, the role balances strict zero-trust security with team velocity, owning the full identity lifecycle and automation.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design, implement, integrate, and maintain Proton's core IAM solutions with high availability and scalability
- ▹Manage systems and applications built on self-hosted, open-source environments
- ▹Develop secure automated processes for user provisioning, de-provisioning, and account lifecycle management
- ▹Design and manage identity governance processes for access rights and compliance alignment
- ▹Conduct regular audits, assessments, and access re-certification campaigns
- ▹Configure and manage access control, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- ▹Write high-quality, maintainable code for infrastructure automation and configuration management
Requirements
- ▹Experience with IAM technologies, ideally Keycloak, midPoint, and Duo
- ▹Experience with self-hosted, open-source environments
- ▹Strong scripting and automation skills
- ▹Knowledge of zero-trust security and identity governance
- ▹Experience with authentication and access control mechanisms
