Insurance Data Engineer for Actuarial Processes

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyzing existing actuarial processes (reserve analysis, IFRS and Solvency II closings, planning and reporting)
• ▹Developing and implementing technical solutions to automate workflows
• ▹Identifying and actively implementing process optimization opportunities, e.g. using common programming languages and database systems
• ▹Collaborating across locations with teams in Frankfurt and Cologne as well as other (inter)national units of the company
• ▹A varied mix of technical development, analysis, and collaboration with different teams

Requirements

• ▹Passion for processes, data, and numbers, with enthusiasm for new technologies
• ▹Professional experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer, ideally in an (actuarial) insurance environment
• ▹Proven track record in process optimization and automation
• ▹Enjoys programming, with in-depth knowledge of modern programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
• ▹Works independently and in a structured manner, team-oriented and confident
• ▹Successfully completed studies in data science, mathematics, or a comparable field
• ▹Good Excel skills
• ▹Very good written and spoken German and English
