Datacenter Engineer / Technician

Responsibilities

• ▹Repair and troubleshoot storage and server systems
• ▹Develop solution concepts and carry out configurations
• ▹Handle incidents via ticketing systems and monitor them
• ▹Resolve hardware issues in coordination with the respective manufacturers
• ▹Manage structured cabling, datacenter room planning, and server rack layouts
• ▹Plan and carry out server and datacenter relocations

Requirements

• ▹Solid knowledge of server and storage hardware (IBM, Sun, Dell, HP, Cisco)
• ▹Experience diagnosing and resolving network and server issues
• ▹Understanding of datacenter cabling and room planning
• ▹German and English language skills
