Responsibilities

• ▹Support customers' DBA teams
• ▹Gather data and investigate issues
• ▹Provide detailed analysis by email, chat or voice
• ▹Perform screen-sharing troubleshooting for production-impacting issues
• ▹Author blog posts and knowledge base articles
• ▹Host webinars

Requirements

• ▹Good hands-on knowledge of MySQL and InnoDB
• ▹Performance tuning and query optimization experience
• ▹Knowledge of backup solutions (Xtrabackup, mydumper)
• ▹Experience with high-availability solutions (replication, proxies)
• ▹Linux system administration experience
• ▹Methodical troubleshooting ability
• ▹Experience working with English-speaking customers

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working in SLA-bound operations
• ▹Open source community contributions
• ▹Knowledge of Galera/XtraDB Cluster/ProxySQL/Orchestrator
• ▹Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ▹Knowledge of Percona Monitoring & Management
• ▹Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• ▹MySQL DBA professional certifications
• ▹Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MyRocks
• ▹Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker
