Sr. Software Engineer - Go/MongoDB

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on the PCSM replication engine: initial cloning followed by continuous change capture over MongoDB Change Streams, handling resume tokens and ordering correctly
• ▹Correctness and fault tolerance at scale: recovering cleanly from network drops, primary elections and restarts
• ▹Sharded cluster support: replicating across shards, dealing with chunk migrations and balancer activity
• ▹Namespace filtering and automatic index management, plus DDL, TTL and index-difference edge cases
• ▹Performance and throughput: parallel cloning, backpressure, sane memory and connection use on large clusters
• ▹CLI and HTTP API, metrics and logging for operators
• ▹On PBM: consistent backup, restore and point-in-time recovery, storage integration (S3, GCS, Azure Blob), pbm-agent and pbm CLI
• ▹Working in the open: pull requests, code review, JIRA, community forum; release quality, tests, packaging, CI and security scanning

Requirements

• ▹Strong production Go experience with real fluency in concurrency: goroutines, channels, context cancellation, worker pools and backpressure

• ▹Backup and restore experience
