Sr. Software Engineer - Go/MongoDB (Remote)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop the replication engine (initial clone + continuous Change Streams replication)
• ▹Ensure fault tolerance and consistency across network drops and elections
• ▹Develop sharded cluster support
• ▹Optimize performance and throughput
• ▹Build the CLI and HTTP API, plus metrics and logging

Requirements

• ▹Strong Go experience in production (goroutines, channels, concurrency)
• ▹Experience debugging race conditions
• ▹MongoDB/backup-restore knowledge is a plus

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Percona Backup for MongoDB (PBM)
• ▹Cloud storage integration (S3, GCS, Azure Blob)
