Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with teams to design, build, deploy and monitor new and existing services
• ▹Build and evolve change management and release processes
• ▹Identify and improve processes through automation
• ▹Focus on observability and logging via proactive monitoring, alerting and anomaly detection
• ▹Take part in monitoring activities and quickly mitigate production issues
• ▹Mitigate production issues using scripts, automation and infrastructure scaling
• ▹Raise third-party tickets when needed (Microsoft, CloudAMQP, New Relic, etc.)
• ▹Update and improve runbooks
• ▹Deep-dive into root cause analysis with teams to prevent incidents
• ▹Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to build scalable, secure and resilient systems
• ▹Define SLOs and error budgets
• ▹Work closely with the Operations team
• ▹Contribute to capacity planning and access management

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• ▹Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• ▹Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, ArgoCD
• ▹Experience with SRE and Support Engineering methodology/culture
• ▹Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, RabbitMQ, AWS, Java and Python
• ▹Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, Grafana
• ▹Advanced English communication skills, written and spoken
• ▹Experience with Agile projects
