Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with teams to design, build, deploy and monitor new and existing services
• ▹Build and evolve change management and release processes
• ▹Improve processes through automation
• ▹Focus on observability, logging, proactive monitoring, alerting and anomaly detection
• ▹Take part in monitoring, quickly mitigating production issues
• ▹Mitigate production issues using scripts, automation, infrastructure scaling
• ▹Raise third-party tickets when needed (Microsoft, CloudAMQP, New Relic, etc.)
• ▹Update and improve runbooks
• ▹Deep-dive into root cause analysis with teams to prevent incidents
• ▹Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on scalable, secure, resilient systems
• ▹Define SLOs and error budgets
• ▹Contribute to capacity planning and access management

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
• ▹Solid fundamentals in OOP, data structures, algorithms
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
• ▹Experience with SRE and Support Engineering methodology/culture
• ▹Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, RabbitMQ, AWS, Java and Python
• ▹Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Grafana)
• ▹Advanced English communication skills
• ▹Experience with Agile projects
