Regional IT Support Developer - MES focus

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide L3 code-level support for MES applications and other critical regional applications
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across code, database, interface and integration problems
• ▹Take part in the regional support rotation for 24/7 coverage of critical MES applications
• ▹Participate actively in Major Incident calls and follow-up Problem Management calls
• ▹Build local environments for bug fixing and testing corrections
• ▹Analyze incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable technical solutions
• ▹Develop, enhance and maintain application components using Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL and RabbitMQ
• ▹Support MES ecosystem integrations with other business and manufacturing systems
• ▹Work with site SMEs, Digital Factory, IT support, infrastructure, DevOps and DBA teams
• ▹Participate in regional and cross-functional IT projects
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles
• ▹Propose and implement improvements to reliability, performance and supportability
• ▹Support application testing, deployment validation and post-release stabilization

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of hands-on experience in application development and/or application support
• ▹Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, EKS, Docker and AWS services
• ▹Proven experience troubleshooting complex application issues
• ▹Ability to analyze logs, code, database queries, interfaces and application behavior to find root causes
• ▹Experience supporting business-critical applications in production
• ▹Understanding of the software development lifecycle, release management and incident/problem management
• ▹Good written and spoken English
• ▹Ability to work with multicultural teams across countries and time zones
• ▹Willingness to join the regional 24/7 support rotation
• ▹Willingness to travel regionally if required
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field

• ▹Experience with Jabil MES systems and the MES 4.0 ecosystem
• ▹Experience with Mendix
• ▹Understanding of manufacturing, shopfloor and business processes
• ▹Experience with application monitoring, logging and performance analysis
• ▹Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines or source control tools
• ▹Experience in a regional or global IT support organization
• ▹Experience in a manufacturing environment
• ▹Experience with MES or production-critical applications
