We are looking for a Network Administrator with Check Point firewall knowledge to join the central network team, responsible for the stable, secure and highly available operation of the network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, operate and continuously develop redundant network landscapes (Office, Data Center, WLAN)
  • Operate Check Point firewalls (ClusterXL, ideally Maestro) and routing/switching environments (Cisco, Juniper) in high-availability configurations
  • Manage and maintain the WLAN infrastructure, including FlexConnect
  • Operate SAN switches (Dell Connectrix) and site-to-site VPN gateways
  • Perform proactive troubleshooting at second and third support levels and participate in incident management
  • Independently resolve technical issues with a strong focus on definitive solutions
  • Take responsibility for the entire network lifecycle from evaluation through end-of-life
  • Provide structured documentation and regular reporting

Requirements

  • Completed IT apprenticeship or university degree
  • Several years of professional experience in network administration within enterprise or critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environments
  • Excellent knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper), WLAN, VPN and firewalling
  • Experience with Check Point firewalls (certification desirable) and understanding of high-availability, security-critical networks
  • Proficiency in lifecycle management of network infrastructures
  • Participation in an on-call rotation, approximately 1 week per month
  • Fluent English and Polish, minimum B2 level, written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Good command of spoken and written German
  • Knowledge of Linux-oriented environments
