Responsibilities

• ▹Setting technical direction for complex ML projects, balancing trade-offs, guiding team priorities
• ▹Designing, implementing and maintaining reliable, scalable ML/software systems
• ▹Defining project problems, developing roadmaps, overseeing delivery in ill-defined, high-risk environments
• ▹Driving development of shared organisational resources and libraries
• ▹Leading hiring processes and mentoring individuals for team growth
• ▹Driving adoption of new technologies to stay ahead of the competition
• ▹Acting as technical expert and coach, accurately estimating large workstreams

Requirements

• ▹Recognised technical expertise, deep on specific topics and broad enough to solve almost any problem
• ▹Strong Python skills, practical experience operationalising models with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• ▹Expert-level in at least one Cloud Solution Provider (Azure, GCP, AWS), leading full-stack web app teams
• ▹Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• ▹Successfully managing and coaching an engineering team, setting development goals
