System Engineer (Market Data Distribution Systems)

Responsibilities

• ▹Operate, maintain, and optimize global market data distribution platforms with focus on high availability, low latency, and system stability
• ▹Configure and support real-time market data environments across global infrastructures
• ▹Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring readiness for changes in market volatility and trading volumes
• ▹Troubleshoot complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• ▹Collaborate with development teams to test, validate, and deploy new software releases and platform enhancements
• ▹Work closely with internal stakeholders and business users to implement market data distribution requirements
• ▹Manage system upgrades, security patches, operating system maintenance, and platform hygiene activities
• ▹Support market data feed migrations and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements
• ▹Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools
• ▹Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across monitoring, automation, security, and operational processes

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems in a production environment
• ▹Good scripting skills using Shell (Bash/Korn Shell) and/or Python
• ▹Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems
