Application Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Daily operation of loan origination and account management systems on a two-shift schedule (day and night on-call)
• ▹System integration tasks on Unix/Linux and Azure-based systems
• ▹Supporting system design, expansion and transformation
• ▹Providing high-level system support to internal customers

Requirements

• ▹At least secondary-level IT qualification
• ▹Ability to work independently and precisely
• ▹Knowledge of basic internet and networking technologies
• ▹Routine in using shell scripting tools
• ▹Intermediate English, written and spoken
• ▹Good stress tolerance and cooperation skills
• ▹Logical thinking, systems mindset
• ▹Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
• ▹At least 1-3 years of experience with Linux/Unix based systems
• ▹Knowledge of Oracle databases

Nice to have

• ▹Higher education degree in IT
• ▹Unix/Linux operations experience
• ▹VMware experience
• ▹Linux/Unix certifications
• ▹Knowledge of OpenShift, DevOps (Jenkins)
• ▹Oracle certifications (OCA, OCP)
• ▹Python programming skills
• ▹Basic Azure DevOps knowledge (AZ-400 certificate an advantage)
• ▹Basic Kubernetes knowledge
• ▹Basic knowledge of ArgoCD, Grafana, Kafka
