Staff Product Designer - Design Systems

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the strategy, roadmap, and development of the design system (currently in Figma)
• ▹Evolve the design system by integrating AI tooling (e.g. Claude Code)
• ▹Develop collaborative workflows between design and front-end teams
• ▹Design, build, and maintain a library of reusable components using atomic design principles
• ▹Create clear, accessible documentation
• ▹Advocate for the design system, providing training and support to drive adoption
• ▹Contribute to end-to-end product features: user research, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity design
• ▹Pioneer the integration of AI into the design practice and mentor the team

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of product design experience with a track record of creating, scaling, and evolving design systems
• ▹Design systems leadership experience
• ▹Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and React for design-engineering collaboration
