Scrum Master (IT/Software, Remote)

An international IT and communications technology company is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to work remotely within the EU on a B2B contract, supporting a client's IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, planning, backlog refinement)
  • Keep meetings productive and within timebox
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner on backlog management
  • Coach the team and PO on incremental delivery
  • Track and radiate flow metrics (velocity, sprint burndown)
  • Champion adoption of agile standards and tools
  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments
  • Promote self-organizing teams and psychological safety
  • Uphold Definition of Done and quality gates
  • Communicate with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners across the organization

Requirements

  • University degree and at least 8 years of IT professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years as Scrum Master at SM2 level or above
  • Led at least 2 production teams through full sprint cycles
  • Implemented data-driven continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinated cross-team work via Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning
  • Deep knowledge of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto
  • Knowledge of facilitation techniques
  • Knowledge of systems thinking and process tailoring
  • Knowledge of team motivation and stakeholder engagement techniques
  • Knowledge of Agile metrics and dashboards
  • Tool proficiency in Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira
  • PSM II (or higher) and SAFe 5/6 Agilist certification
  • Excellent command of English

Nice to have

  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS)
  • Knowledge of integrating SAFe and Kanban approaches
