Senior Video Conferencing Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Build telemetry for conferencing quality: latency, quality, resource use on the device
• ▹Move key quality metrics: better audio/video, lower latency, lighter device load
• ▹Own specialist conferencing problems from diagnosis to fix
• ▹Raise the team's real-time media expertise and flag risky design decisions

Requirements

• ▹Years of experience in real-time media: WebRTC, codecs, media servers
• ▹Experience building or using telemetry to diagnose real-time system issues
• ▹Ability to work independently, as the company's first deep conferencing-quality specialist
