Senior Video Conferencing Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Build telemetry for conferencing quality: latency, quality, and resource use on-device, visible and tracked
• ▹Move the key metrics: better audio and video, lower latency, lighter device load
• ▹Own specialist-level conferencing problems from diagnosis to fix
• ▹Sharpen the team's real-time media calls by sharing knowledge

Requirements

• ▹Years of experience in real-time media: WebRTC, codecs, media servers
• ▹Data-driven problem solving: measure before theorizing
• ▹Experience building or using telemetry to diagnose messy real-time systems
• ▹Influence without a manager's title, flagging design issues early
