DevOps/SRE Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop applications in Java and/or Python
• ▹Develop and evolve PaaS solutions
• ▹Create and maintain Dockerfiles and container images, including multistage builds
• ▹Create YAML manifests for Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments
• ▹Configure Pods, Services, Ingress, Deployments and Secrets
• ▹Troubleshoot Java and Python applications deployed on Kubernetes
• ▹Analyze and resolve incidents in cloud and containerized environments
• ▹Transform legacy applications into microservices architectures
• ▹Collaborate with development, application and support teams under a DevOps philosophy
• ▹Use version control tools

Requirements

• ▹At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments
• ▹At least 2 years of experience in Java, Python or PHP
• ▹Experience troubleshooting Java and/or Python applications on Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman
• ▹Experience building images, Dockerfiles and multistage builds
• ▹Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts: Pods, Services, Ingress, Deployments, Secrets
• ▹Experience writing deployment and service YAML files
• ▹Version control tools, especially Git
• ▹Strong analytical skills

Nice to have

• ▹Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
• ▹User-level knowledge of monitoring/observability tools such as ELK or Grafana
• ▹Experience transforming legacy applications into microservices
• ▹Knowledge of PaaS platform development and maintenance
• ▹Previous experience with OpenShift
