Responsibilities

• ▹Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server platforms
• ▹Install, configure, update, and patch SQL Server instances
• ▹Manage databases, capacity, storage, and performance
• ▹Manage backups, restores, and recovery plans
• ▹Support high-availability environments (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering)
• ▹Diagnose and resolve complex incidents
• ▹Optimize database and query performance
• ▹Automate tasks using PowerShell and T-SQL
• ▹Produce technical documentation and root cause analysis (RCA)
• ▹Participate in migration, consolidation, and modernization projects

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server administrator
• ▹Experience managing SQL Server 2016, 2019 and/or 2022
• ▹Knowledge of backup & recovery
• ▹Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• ▹Knowledge of T-SQL
• ▹Experience in on-premise, virtualized, or cloud environments
• ▹Technical English

Nice to have

• ▹Windows Server experience
• ▹Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• ▹Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Microsoft 365
• ▹Knowledge of Azure or AWS
• ▹Automation experience with PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
• ▹Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
• ▹Microsoft, Azure, AWS, or SQL Server certifications
