Responsibilities

• ▹Be accountable for the design and development of an internal product
• ▹Lead a team of software engineers working in Python
• ▹Develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports
• ▹Seek improvements to established processes, designs and solutions
• ▹Build an understanding of business needs to deliver the most impact
• ▹Data Governance team: enable secure, well-governed access to internal and external data sources organized in a data mesh, using open-source tools such as Trino and Ranger
• ▹Integrations team: automate SaaS user management and onboard new data sources to the data mesh with a Python-based solution and open-source ETL tools

Requirements

• ▹Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
• ▹Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
• ▹Track record of going above and beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
• ▹Experience with software development in a high-level language (Golang, Python, Java, ...)
• ▹Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• ▹Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
• ▹Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events of up to two weeks

Nice to have

• ▹Performance engineering and SRE experience
• ▹Experience with data governance, data engineering or data science
