Senior Product Manager, Data / ML

Responsibilities

• ▹Sets and aligns the area's data and ML direction across product, engineering and leadership
• ▹Turns raw interaction data into immediately actionable insights at individual and organizational level
• ▹Keeps recommendations grounded in science, working closely with the Science Lead
• ▹Builds and owns the platform that generates insights and recommendations, usable both in the UI and by AI agents
• ▹Designs the ranking and timing logic that delivers the right insight to the right user at the right moment
• ▹Partners with Staff Engineers on architecture and technical decisions
• ▹Defines measurement and experimentation standards
• ▹Proves the system gets sharper over time (e.g. through reinforcement learning)
• ▹Owns responsible AI shipping: failure modes, quality bars, guarding against feedback loops
• ▹Makes pragmatic calls on when to use ML, GenAI or a simpler solution

Requirements

• ▹Several years leading data-driven or ML-backed products end to end, ideally in B2B SaaS
• ▹Experience with recommendation engines or similar ranking/personalization systems
• ▹Experience shipping data or AI products where the core value is the system itself
• ▹Experience leading shared-capability or platform work with cross-team adoption
• ▹Commercial mindset: connects product decisions to retention, expansion and durable engagement
• ▹Strong experimentation practice: A/B testing, incrementality, causal inference
• ▹Fluency in responsible AI shipping: eval sets, failure modes
• ▹Leads through influence and coaching

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with AI ecosystems and integration patterns such as MCP
