Mentimeter is looking for an Engineering Director who, as one of two Engineering Directors sitting in Area Leadership, leads engineering across 5-8 teams (typically 2-5 engineers each) through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
Responsibilities
- ▹Lead 5-8 teams through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers, building a product used by more than 300 million people
- ▹Own technical direction and architectural coherence across the Areas, together with Staff Engineers
- ▹Make build-vs-borrow-vs-buy calls grounded in business context
- ▹Grow Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers who grow great engineers
- ▹Co-own Areas' outcomes and trade-offs with the Product Director and Design Director peers
