PL/I Developer – Output Management Systems

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and enhance existing PL/I modules for Output Management Systems (OMS)
• ▹Conduct code and business analysis to implement code refactoring and increase module resilience
• ▹Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to discuss requirements and address bugs or issues
• ▹Participate in requirement engineering to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of business needs
• ▹Contribute to the architecture and design of output management solutions, ensuring scalability and efficiency

Requirements

• ▹Profound development experience in PL/I
• ▹Extensive experience with Output Management Systems, including architecture and design
• ▹Strong expertise in requirement engineering
• ▹Deep knowledge of IBM DB2, WebSphere MQ, and XML
• ▹Experience with the Allianz Business System (ABS)
• ▹Fluent German for effective communication with business stakeholders
• ▹Willingness to travel to Munich for Tribe Days and other workshops

Nice to have

• ▹Java skills or experience in another object-oriented language (due to the planned PL/I to Java migration)
