Responsibilities

• ▹Guide clients through data-driven transformations, helping them extract value from data
• ▹Bridge technical teams (data scientists, analysts) and business stakeholders
• ▹Translate complex data concepts into concrete business insights
• ▹Support business leaders in identifying and prioritizing challenges, focusing on the biggest impact
• ▹Deliver persuasive presentations to senior management, communicate data strategies clearly, and explain why data governance matters at every level of the organization
• ▹Ensure end-to-end data quality, governance and management across various projects
• ▹Contribute to business development and pre-sales activities
• ▹Design and deliver innovative data solutions in sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, industry, consumer goods, energy, utilities and financial services

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data strategy and data management
• ▹Knowledge of the legal aspects of data governance, such as GDPR, the AI Act and other relevant regulation
• ▹Experience with data management implementation programs and IT delivery methodologies
• ▹Fluent Dutch and English
• ▹Strong consulting skills, with excellent communication and facilitation ability
• ▹Willingness to travel, both within the Netherlands and internationally

Nice to have

• ▹DMBOK certification
• ▹Experience with data catalog tools such as Collibra, Informatica or Azure Purview
• ▹Expertise in Microsoft Azure (preferred) or another major cloud platform
• ▹Proven experience designing and implementing data governance solutions
• ▹Experience in agile environments such as DevOps, SAFe and Scrum
