Responsibilities

• ▹Attract, recruit, ramp and mentor a team of great presales Solutions Engineers from diverse backgrounds
• ▹Lead with a servant-based, player/coach approach, balancing field responsibilities with team needs
• ▹Direct the region's day-to-day work based on guidance and goals from leadership
• ▹Partner with Benelux/NEMEA sales leadership on customer programs, marketing initiatives and events
• ▹Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts in the region
• ▹Feed customer requirements into product management and engineering using a data-driven approach to prioritization
• ▹Own and report on the team's quarterly cadence (demos, technical deep dives, trials, POVs)
• ▹Find and drive enablement and selling through channel partners (RSIs, GSIs) locally, regionally and globally

Requirements

• ▹Some team leadership experience, 5-10 years in the high-tech industry (Developer, Architect, Sales Engineer/Architect, Manager roles)
• ▹Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth, remote-first startup environment
• ▹Proven track record of mentoring, developing people and managing performance over time
• ▹Proven ability to own a book of business and direct your own and your team's work to exceed quarterly targets
• ▹English fluency required
• ▹Located in the Netherlands

Nice to have

• ▹Open source selling or cloud-first/product-led sales go-to-market experience
• ▹Direct experience implementing or executing a formal sales methodology (e.g. COM, value selling, MEDDPICC)
• ▹Direct experience selling monitoring/data/visualization products
• ▹A second European language
