Responsibilities

• ▹Elevate developer productivity by abstracting common patterns and creating tools that make building easier
• ▹Design, develop and optimize the platform to be secure, reliable and scalable
• ▹Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks across the stack
• ▹Champion security and reliability, keeping sensitive data protected
• ▹Continuously improve resilience and efficiency under rapid product growth
• ▹Collaborate cross-functionally on best practices that benefit all teams
• ▹Own projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment
• ▹Enhance and expand platform services for the next generation of Assured products

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of experience in platform or backend engineering (or equivalent expertise)
• ▹Deep knowledge of TypeScript, plus experience with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL and AWS
• ▹Proven ability to lead projects independently from architecture to production
• ▹Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams
• ▹A track record of building secure, reliable, high-performance platforms
• ▹A passion for craftsmanship: clean code, thoughtful design and collaborative teamwork
• ▹Confidence making strategic technical tradeoffs with company-wide implications
• ▹A growth mindset and ownership mentality
