Responsibilities

• ▹Optimize the in-house, ultra-dynamic recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and build tooling around it
• ▹Create automated guardrails for the security and privacy of customer data
• ▹Help ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts and feature flags while limiting complexity and downtime
• ▹Define SLOs with the business and engineering team and implement the corresponding SLIs
• ▹Ensure external service communication supports retries and circuit breakers
• ▹Build infrastructure to support an event-driven architecture and data warehouse

Requirements

• ▹Experience building infrastructure at a somewhat later/larger stage than Ashby is currently at, dealing with millions of data points
• ▹Track record automating everything from provisioning to monitoring and release processes
• ▹Strong SQL skills, as the team also digs into reports and data-model performance
• ▹Willingness and desire to code — SREs here are full software engineers at the platform level
• ▹Comfortable owning projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
• ▹Strong async, written communication skills
