Responsibilities

• ▹Drive the technical direction of the Insights practice management platform, scaling to thousands of practices and millions of users
• ▹Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL
• ▹Improve system reliability and observability with best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting
• ▹Optimize performance and scalability of web applications as the company rapidly expands
• ▹Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability
• ▹Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
• ▹Lead and deliver high-impact projects, balancing speed and quality
• ▹Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements across the stack
• ▹Work closely with product and design teams to build intuitive experiences for healthcare staff

Requirements

• ▹10+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on scalable full-stack applications
• ▹Proficiency in full-stack development: JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, PostgreSQL
• ▹Strong architectural skills designing scalable, reliable, performant web applications
• ▹Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects and balancing trade-offs
• ▹Deep front-end knowledge: React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, component design
• ▹Experience with complex backend systems: API design, database performance optimization
• ▹Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with an observability focus
• ▹Ability to mentor engineers
• ▹Excellent communication with leadership and cross-functional teams

• ▹Experience scaling front-end applications in a fast-growing, high-traffic environment
• ▹Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, diagnosing bottlenecks in React applications
