Sr Application Engineer (Salesforce Agentforce AI)

Responsibilities

• ▹Build AI Agents using Agentforce and other AI platforms (e.g. Microsoft Copilot Studio)
• ▹Pioneer intelligent process automations in enterprise environments (Power Automate, Alteryx)
• ▹Build test automations to improve QA efficiencies
• ▹Collaborate with product designers, end-users, and team members to refine AI use cases
• ▹Execute application development tasks using Apex, JavaScript, and Python across core and connected apps
• ▹Perform unit tests and create accurate test scripts for automated and manual testing
• ▹Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug systems
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation for builds and AI Agents
• ▹Onboard, mentor, and coach junior to intermediate application engineers, including peer review and pull request approval

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on experience building Agentforce AI Agents, AI workflows, and custom agent development
• ▹Experience with Salesforce and external system integrations (Conga, Docusign, Adobe, Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Qualtrics, Kantata, TaskRay)
• ▹Experience creating intelligent process automations (e.g. Power Automate)
• ▹Experience creating test automations for Salesforce and other platforms
• ▹Experience writing clean, scalable code in JavaScript, Apex, and Python
• ▹Proficient in DevOps processes and tools (e.g. Copado, AutoRabit)
• ▹Proficient in GitHub and versioning/DevOps troubleshooting
• ▹Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• ▹Experience with automated testing frameworks (PMD, Selenium, Copado CRT)
• ▹In-depth understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and governor limits
• ▹Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist certification
• ▹Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II certification (required)
• ▹Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (required)
• ▹BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• ▹5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce-integrated applications

• ▹Salesforce Certified Application/Systems Architect certification
• ▹Experience building AI Agents on other AI platforms
• ▹Experience on teams operating under a Product Operating Model
• ▹Experience working on a SaaS product
• ▹Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System or other UI frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular)
• ▹Understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce, and Einstein
• ▹Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
• ▹Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect for authentication and authorization
• ▹Experience with on-call responsibilities for production-grade systems
• ▹Experience with the Workday platform (highly desired)
