Responsibilities

• ▹Participate in sales meetings with customers, explain Runpod's technologies, provide architectural recommendations, and build PoC solutions to support onboarding for high-spending customers
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve critical or complex technical issues escalated by customers, including configuration, performance, functionality, compatibility, or code errors
• ▹Use code analysis, testing scripts, log analysis, and remote access to identify root causes and deliver solutions or workarounds
• ▹Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams (engineering, sales, supply, product management) to ensure customer satisfaction
• ▹Assist the support team with escalated tickets, collaborate with engineering on workarounds or bug fixes, and work with infrastructure on GPU server issues
• ▹Contribute to product development and testing by relaying customer and support feedback to the engineering team
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation (knowledge base articles, FAQs, guides, manuals) and deliver training sessions, webinars, and demos

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related) or equivalent professional experience
• ▹3+ years of professional software development experience
• ▹Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• ▹Familiarity with applied AI use cases such as inference, fine-tuning, LLM-based applications, or agentic systems
• ▹Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• ▹Located in the US in the PST region
• ▹Successful completion of a background check

Nice to have

• ▹Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, PyTorch), JavaScript (React, Node.js), and Go, with hands-on full-stack development experience
• ▹Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Ubuntu), containerization (Docker), SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), datacenter components, and common network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, DNS)
• ▹Proficiency in deploying and managing AI/ML models as services or APIs, with deep understanding of training, inference, and deployment processes
• ▹Ability to write and execute scripts, queries, or commands, and read and understand code, logs, errors, or traces
