Technical Deployment Lead, Forward Deployed Engineering - Paris

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical delivery plan across multiple interdependent workstreams
• ▹Translate business objectives into a roadmap with milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
• ▹Run day-to-day engineering execution across OpenAI FDE and customer teams
• ▹Embed with customer teams to land production deployments and drive adoption
• ▹Lead onboarding, adoption, and change management
• ▹Partner with Product and Research to keep platform and research workstreams aligned with delivery
• ▹Codify solution patterns and evals; own value cases and ROI measurement

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership
• ▹Track record leading large, complex, high-stakes customer engagements, ideally involving AI
• ▹Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments and simplifying complex work
• ▹Ability to move fluidly between system-level understanding and execution-level detail
• ▹Strategic thinking and pattern-matching across deployments
• ▹Strong technical fluency and sharp sequencing instincts
• ▹Experience shipping AI/LLM systems
• ▹Executive-level communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Sector expertise in at least one major industry (e.g. healthcare, energy, financial services, semiconductors, IT)
• ▹Enjoys frequent onsite customer work (often 25-50%, sometimes higher)
