VP Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Own engineering end-to-end: people, architecture, hiring, delivery, and quality across all squads
• ▹Build an AI-native org where AI is the default for code, tests, reviews, and deploys, targeting 3-5x output per engineer
• ▹Ship the AI-powered one-stop-shop for money: autonomous agents and personalized financial guidance
• ▹Set the 10-year technical vision and grow Finary's engineering brand to attract top talent
• ▹Lead 30 engineers across web, mobile, and backend, partnering with Product, Data, and Ops

Requirements

• ▹Personally led an AI-native transformation at a 20+ engineer organization, with measurable before/after results
• ▹Scaled an engineering team to 30+ in a high-growth startup
• ▹Backend-strong and still hands-on today
• ▹Rebuilt your own workflow around AI and shipped AI for others, provably
• ▹Builds A-player teams that follow you across companies
• ▹Actively manages your own money and has a strong point of view on investing

Nice to have

• ▹Experience inside fintech or a trust-heavy product
• ▹Founder, co-founder, or first technical hire at a startup that scaled
• ▹Based in or ready to relocate to France
