Engineering Manager, FDE Infrastructure (NORAM)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
• ▹Drive end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments
• ▹Take ownership of customer success from technical implementation through delivery
• ▹Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape how AI is delivered to enterprises
• ▹Mentor the team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade deployments
• ▹Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases, and other K8s services
• ▹Define scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources
• ▹Build processes and technology that scale with the growing organization

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated leadership
• ▹Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale
• ▹Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• ▹Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹High agency — doesn't wait for permission to solve problems
• ▹A doer mentality — digs in and gets things done
• ▹Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• ▹Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have

• ▹Fluency in additional European languages
• ▹Experience with AI/ML infrastructure
• ▹Background in enterprise security and compliance
