As an Implementation Engineer at Abridge, you'll be the technical backbone of the post-sales journey, removing technical barriers for health systems and keeping integrations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- ▹Own the post-sales technical execution of Abridge deployments, ensuring partner growth goals are met
- ▹Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across API connectivity, authentication, networking, data inconsistencies, and EHR configuration
- ▹Own higher-level technical escalations from partner-facing teams, coordinating with engineering when needed
- ▹Proactively monitor key account integration and product health metrics
- ▹Act as the technical bridge between partners and internal teams (Integration Engineering, Partner Success, Implementation)
- ▹Develop and maintain the product deployment playbook, including deployment guides and troubleshooting playbooks
- ▹Consult on technical requirements and risks for new feature deployments
- ▹Partner with engineering to build tooling that enhances real-time partner support
Requirements
- ▹Strong understanding of networking concepts, API architectures, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT), and cloud infrastructure
- ▹Ability to debug API failures, network issues (DNS, firewalls, load balancers), and integration failures across distributed systems
- ▹Excellent communication, translating complex technical topics for any audience
- ▹Deeply cross-functional mindset, enjoying being the bridge between teams
- ▹Keen attention to detail and creative problem-solving in ambiguous situations
- ▹Ability to turn learnings into repeatable technical processes
- ▹5+ years of experience supporting business-critical relationships with deep technical expertise
Nice to have
- ▹Experience integrating with EHR systems at large, complex organizations, with deep Epic configuration expertise
- ▹Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, or SQL) to automate troubleshooting
- ▹Familiarity with systems requiring strict privacy and security protocols
- ▹Experience in customer success or account management with tiered support and escalation protocols
- ▹Willingness to travel up to 20%
