Sales Engineer / Electrical Engineer, Battery Energy Storage (BESS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and deliver tailored technical energy storage solutions
• ▹Translate customer requirements into detailed project scopes and technical documentation
• ▹Provide technical input and advice during contract negotiations
• ▹Stay up to date on product developments, industry trends and competitor offerings
• ▹Identify and evaluate new market segments for business growth
• ▹Monitor tariff and market regulation changes, updating financial and market models
• ▹Oversee preliminary design activities, ensuring engineering standards and quality compliance

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of engineering experience in the renewable energy sector (consulting, sales engineering or project engineering)
• ▹Strong electrical engineering background and knowledge of battery energy storage, power conversion and grid systems
• ▹Experience reviewing contracts and technical scopes of work
• ▹Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ▹Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools; AutoCAD is a plus
• ▹Fluency in English and German

• ▹Knowledge of AutoCAD
