Service Engineer (Expert)

Responsibilities

• ▹Take E2E responsibility for one or more business services
• ▹Own the service concept document and keep it current and complete
• ▹Develop standards within problem management for continuous service improvement
• ▹Handle detailed specification for the tool landscape and customer monitoring, second-level support and steering of external providers
• ▹Define and track SLAs and service KPIs, react proactively to deviations
• ▹Analyze customer requirements from projects (rollout, upgrade)

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical degree (telecommunications, electronics, IT) or comparable vocational training with several years of experience
• ▹At least 4 years of professional experience
• ▹Proven knowledge of project management and presentation techniques (Scrum, Prince2)
• ▹Operational and configuration knowledge of SIP trunks, voice gateways, UCC solutions (VF ONE) and voice/signaling protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP, SRTP)
• ▹Good knowledge of network, transmission and signaling protocols in telecommunications
• ▹Confident use of SIP traces and call-flow analysis via Wireshark
• ▹Fluent German and good (B2) English

Nice to have

• ▹CCNA/CCNP certification (Routing & Switching, Voice, Collaboration)
