IT Systems Engineer – MS Server and Exchange

Responsibilities

• ▹Provision, administer, and operate the company-wide server infrastructure (Microsoft focus)
• ▹Develop, automate, and troubleshoot Microsoft servers, Exchange Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID
• ▹Plan and execute new installations and lifecycle management (hotfixes, patches, upgrades, releases)
• ▹Contribute to IT infrastructure projects from planning to rollout
• ▹Coordinate with partners and vendors
• ▹Enhance monitoring of the server landscape
• ▹Provide 2nd/3rd level support
• ▹Create and maintain operations and system documentation

Requirements

• ▹Degree in business informatics, IT vocational training, or equivalent multi-year IT experience
• ▹Several years' experience operating Microsoft Windows Server (versions 2012-2022)
• ▹Good knowledge administering Microsoft Exchange environments (versions 2010-2019)
• ▹Good PowerShell skills
• ▹Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
• ▹Solid troubleshooting skills
• ▹Structured, independent work style
• ▹Fluent German and good English
• ▹Willingness to participate in on-call duty
