Release Train Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive operation of the Engineering Platform ART to consistently meet PI objectives
• ▹Identify, track and resolve cross-team and cross-ART dependencies and risks
• ▹Ensure effective collaboration between product management, architects, developers and stakeholders
• ▹Establish and facilitate ART events such as PI Planning
• ▹Drive ART-level Inspect & Adapt outcomes and evolve ways of working
• ▹Define and track metrics such as predictability, quality and flow

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• ▹Experience as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Software Project/Program Manager or Product Owner
• ▹Experience leading cross-functional, distributed teams in agile setups
• ▹Solid knowledge of Scrum and SAFe
• ▹Proven ability to work in intercultural, globally distributed teams
• ▹Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• ▹German proficiency highly desirable
• ▹Japanese or Chinese skills a plus
• ▹Experience with distributed software projects with strong HW/SW interaction
• ▹Hands-on experience leading an Agile Release Train
• ▹Direct or indirect people leadership experience
• ▹Experience in regulated environments (automotive, medical, aerospace) or the semiconductor industry
