Responsibilities

• ▹Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the core IT infrastructure
• ▹Administer, operate, and further develop complex Windows server environments
• ▹Support and optimize Microsoft Azure services, particularly in infrastructure
• ▹Ensure reliable backup and recovery operations
• ▹Administer and optimize the performance of Microsoft SQL Server instances
• ▹Automate and standardize administrative processes using PowerShell
• ▹Support the IT service desk on complex infrastructure topics
• ▹Contribute to national and international IT projects
• ▹Analyze, handle, and permanently resolve technical faults
• ▹Continuously develop the existing server and cloud landscape

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist in system integration) or comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience administering server and infrastructure environments
• ▹Solid knowledge in at least two of the following: Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell, backup/recovery solutions, Linux (Ubuntu or Red Hat), Group Policies (GPOs) and Azure Policies, ITIL-based operating processes
• ▹Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• ▹Technical curiosity and pragmatic problem-solving ability
• ▹Confident manner and strong communication skills in an international environment
• ▹Fluent German (at least C1 level) and good English

Nice to have

• ▹Vendor certifications in Microsoft or infrastructure fields
