Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) - Ops AI Platform
Alan is building a brand-new Ops AI Platform where AI agents autonomously handle operational work, and is hiring a fullstack (product) engineer to join at ground zero. The role sits at the intersection of product engineering and ML engineering, building tools that let non-technical operators create, evolve, and monitor their own AI agents at scale. The team aims to automate tens of thousands of tasks daily while keeping safety and accuracy at the core.
Responsibilities
- ▹Integrate AI agents at the heart of internal tools with context-aware chat modals showing agents' reasoning and actions
- ▹Empower non-technical users to create and maintain agents (prompting, tools configuration, testing, datasets, evaluations)
- ▹Build a complete set of tools for AI agents, connecting to internal and external capabilities
- ▹Ensure safety and accuracy through robust testing, stateful evaluation, progressive rollout, and human-in-the-loop validation
- ▹Scale the system from a few dozen to tens of thousands of automated tasks daily
- ▹Influence system architecture and code quality
- ▹Mentor engineers, contribute to the engineering culture, and help with hiring
Requirements
- ▹3+ years of experience as a product engineer
- ▹Strong full-stack software engineering and systems architecture background, with a spike in back-end engineering
- ▹Product-minded, wanting solutions to be used and impactful
- ▹Self-directed and pragmatic
- ▹Fluent English
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with traditional ML, LLMs, or ML dev ops
- ▹Interest in LLMs, tool calling, human-in-the-loop, and multi-agent architectures
