Responsibilities

• ▹Act as the primary point of contact for data center technicians, giving clear email instructions on hardware replacement schedules and requirements
• ▹Manage communication with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts
• ▹Keep hardware incidents accurate in real time with detailed updates in Jira service management tools
• ▹Proactively update operational workflows and SOPs in Confluence
• ▹Manage security reporting workflows, ensuring every hardware replacement comes with proper documentation, uploaded proof of work and adherence to safety protocols
• ▹Eliminate wait times in Agile workflows
• ▹Consistently automate with common frameworks
• ▹Design and implement internal tools and services
• ▹Maintain an overview of processes, communication and motivation within the team
• ▹Establish and communicate processes where necessary
• ▹Contribute to improving overarching process landscapes and structures

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or business subject, or comparable professional training
• ▹3 years of professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• ▹Good knowledge of process creation and documentation, especially for DevOps
• ▹Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation
• ▹Knowledge of agile development processes
• ▹High level of customer orientation
• ▹Ability to assess technical solutions and find creative approaches
• ▹Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹OpenStack and programming experience in open source projects
