Solution Architect - Remote from EU

Responsibilities

• ▹Perform market analysis and/or proof of concept work to validate intended designs and identify suitable technologies and products for the delivery stream domain and scope
• ▹Follow up on implementation of approved designs with ICT Engineering and Operations teams, clarifying open points and steering the implementation with design expertise

Requirements

• ▹More than 6 years of experience in ICT solution design, specifically integration architectures (and microservices architectures in the last couple of years)
• ▹A minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud native technologies (microservices, REST APIs, message queues)
• ▹A minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing solutions based on cloud native infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes)
• ▹Participation in a minimum of 3 system integration projects
• ▹Experience with and participation in the EU Interoperability program
• ▹Good knowledge of interoperability technology (REST APIs, message oriented middleware, service oriented applications)
• ▹Good knowledge of container and orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes) on premises and in the cloud (Azure/AWS)
• ▹Good knowledge of solution design best practices, creating self-explanatory documents and diagrams, presenting architecture decisions to varied audiences
• ▹Good knowledge of security and access management best practices for cloud native solutions
• ▹European citizens only

• ▹Certifications: Kubernetes, Azure/AWS Cloud Architecture, Agile, etc.
