Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, conduct, and document hardware tests on embedded electronics and digital protection/field devices
• ▹Develop and maintain test environments, test benches, and the required hardware and software
• ▹Perform EMC, environmental, safety, and certification testing
• ▹Ensure complete test documentation
• ▹Support development and product teams in design reviews and risk analyses
• ▹Collaborate with external testing and certification bodies

Requirements

• ▹Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or comparable field
• ▹Several years of experience in hardware testing of embedded electronics and documenting technical tests
• ▹Knowledge of EMC, product safety, environmental simulation, and relevant test procedures
• ▹Experience with measurement technology
• ▹Very good German and English skills
• ▹Analytical, structured, quality-focused way of working
• ▹Willingness to travel occasionally

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of ISO 17025, UL certifications, or Component Engineering
