(Senior) High-Voltage Distribution Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Perform, own and drive hardware validation of HV distribution components per SOPs and internal standards
• ▹Define test plans, test articles, methods and equipment; propose design of experiments
• ▹Process raw data into meaningful conclusions and share reports with internal teams, suppliers and executives
• ▹Conceptualize, design, assemble and commission test benches and associated software environments
• ▹Ensure equipment designs comply with health, safety, CE and environmental standards
• ▹(For senior roles) Lead and mentor junior engineers, create work plans and set priorities

Requirements

• ▹Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• ▹Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics and instrumentation
• ▹Experience with controllers, DAQs, sensors and communication standards like CAN
• ▹Experience with object-oriented coding/scripting (Python, C++, etc.) for hardware control and data analysis
• ▹3D CAD skills, CATIA preferred
• ▹For senior roles: 4+ years of relevant work experience

Nice to have

• ▹Experience using environmental chambers for validation testing
• ▹Experience drawing P&IDs and single wire diagrams
• ▹Class B driving license valid in Germany
• ▹Familiarity with thermal modeling, FEA and FMEA
